Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is for a Police Officer located in Coldspring, TX. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, responding to emergency situations, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Additional duties include gathering and preserving evidence, writing detailed reports, and engaging proactively with the community to foster positive relationships and uphold public trust.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Police Officer duties, including patrolling, responding to incidents, and crisis management
- Experience with gathering, processing, and preserving Evidence to support investigations
- Skills in Criminal Investigations and the ability to effectively follow investigative procedures
- Understanding of Law Enforcement protocols and applicable legal frameworks
- Proficiency in Police operations, including but not limited to, arrest procedures and community engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse populations professionally and respectfully
- Physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
- A high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice is a plus
- Licensed peace officer certification and a valid driver’s license
