EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or GED equivalent, General knowledge of preventative maintenance; 5 years construction experience preferred. Working hands on in general maintenance and repair. Demonstrate ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects.

High organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative. Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills. Recognize and act on opportunities; adjust direction when situation warrants. Work independently without regular direct supervision. Must be a provider of excellent customer service.
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and write the English language. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Must possess a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one by start of employment without record of suspension or revocation in any state.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of hire and have no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal histories within the past seven (7) years.

Work is performed mostly in a field environment. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear, sit, smell, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close, distant and color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

 While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quite in the office and moderate in the field.
