Payroll Accounting Technician

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of teamwork to fill the position of Payroll Accounting Technician. This position is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s degree with 2 years of payroll experience, preferrable in a Governmental setting. The starting wage for this position is $25.54 per hour; compensation may vary based on experience. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program.
