About The Position
The CMMS Library Aide physically prepares and organizes incoming books and media for circulation, including applying labels, security tags, and maintaining inventory with library software. . They perform minimal repairs on damaged items, and troubleshoot issues with previously circulated items, often communicating with staff to resolve problems. This position also acts as a back-up to the digitization staff and cataloging staff, so having experience with cataloging, or willingness to learn is preferred. This hands-on role demands attention to detail, prioritization, excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $45,884/annually.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
All Assignments:
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
- Two years college work completed.
- One year of public contact experience resolving various levels of customer service needs.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or job-related training or experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
