The City of Saratoga Springs currently has an opening for a Maintenance Worker I, II, or III -- Parks. This is a full-time position with the Saratoga Springs Public Works Department of approximately 40 hours per week. This position performs skilled work pertaining to landscape maintenance and maintenance of Saratoga Springs City parks, streetscapes, park facilities, and other City of Saratoga Springs property. This employee also functions as one of the City's principal "on-call" employees for after-hour emergencies related to the area of responsibility and for snow plowing.
Works under the specific direction of the Maintenance Supervisor -- Parks and the Parks Superintendent, and the general direction of the Public Works Director. All employees are also under the general supervision of the City Manager
