**Job Description**
The city of Saratoga Springs has open positions for Battalion Chief (Combat) Full time position, exempt. This position provides immediate supervision to Fire Captain's or individuals assigned as Officers in Charge (OIC) and general supervision to all lower level personnel.
Performs a variety of mid-level management, general administrative and advanced technical firefighting and emergency medical service (EMS) duties related to protecting life and property of city residents; including but not limited to fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials containment, fire investigation, emergency medical response, critical care service delivery, etc.
