SALARY: 2025 $55,341 - $61,839.
LOCATION: Saratoga Springs Public Library (SSPL).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science from a library school that is accredited by the American Library Association or recognized by the New York State Education Department as following accepted education practices (some universities have renamed their programs and no longer designate the degree as a Master’s in Library Science—contact the New York State Library’s Division of Library Development for assistance).
DUTIES:
- Under direction from a higher level librarian or administrative director, the Librarian I performs professional librarian work, with responsibilities in the areas of information services, outreach, programming, resource development, professional development, and ad-hoc leadership support.
- Supervision may be exercised over the work of paraprofessional and clerical staff, as well as volunteers.
- Performs related work as required.
