MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualification(s) MUST be met and clearly detailed on the application form on or before the last filing date:
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License OR
- ONE (1) year of full-time paid experience in building cleaning and minor maintenance activities and possession of an appropriate level NYS Driver’s License.
PLEASE NOTE: Incumbents must maintain a current and valid NYS Driver’s License throughout employment with SSCSD.
DUTIES:
- This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks.
- Cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed according to a well-established routine.
- An incumbent may be responsible for the cleanliness and minor maintenance in a small school building or work under supervision of a higher-ranking employee at a larger school building.
- Supervision may be exercised over the work of cleaners or helpers.
Salary : $48,674
