About Us
The City and County of Denver’s Enterprise Resource Services is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst to support the City’s PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system. The Systems Analyst will function as the liaison between the functional resources and developers on the Payroll and Time & Labor modules and backup analyst for Human Resources and Benefits modules.
About Our Job
The following knowledge and skills are highly desirable:
Payroll industry knowledge, customer service skills, project implementation methodology, and understanding the capabilities and limitations of PeopleTools, PeopleCode and SQR. Functions will include troubleshooting, performing fit/gap analysis, working with functional and technical resources to produce solutions to resolve business problems, developing reports and queries, producing functional and technical documentation, system testing, and training end users.
About You
Baccalaureate degree in an information technology major (computer science, computer engineering, information systems, etc.) or a directly related technical discipline.
Two years of professional level experience in PeopleSoft systems analysis in the Payroll and/or Time & Labor modules, application troubleshooting, relational database knowledge, writing SQL, creation of test procedures and working with functional users to complete testing of code in PeopleSoft environment, one year of which must have been providing system analysis within a PeopleSoft Human Capital Management version 8 or greater.
A master's degree may substitute for the minimum education requirement and one year of the minimum experience requirement, but not the experience which must have included responsibilities for performing technical business systems analysis. Appropriate experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of one year of experience for one year of education.
