About Us
CURRENT CITY EMPLOYEES - this is a city employee only recruitment for all current Denver City employees with or without Career Service status.
This recruitment will establish an Equipment Operator list that will be used by Public Works.This list will be valid for one year from the date that you pass the performance test unless it is exhausted before then.
About Our Job
Requirements: You will operate light to medium size equipment in the performance of a variety of construction and maintenance activities.
About You
Requires 700 hours of equipment operator differential
OR
1 year of experience as a Senior Utility Worker in the Career Service Authority system
OR
1 year of experience servicing equipment at the Equipment Operator level or higher
OR
2 years of experience as a Utility Worker in the Career Service Authority system
OR
1 year of experience operating equipment at the Equipment Operator level or higher
You must possess a valid Colorado Commercial Driver’s License CDL B with appropriate endorsements at the time of application. Any air brake restriction (L) needs to be listed at the time of application
Your CDL license will need to be kept current as a condition of continued employment in this class.
