City of Sanger Volunteer Program
General Requirements
·Applicant must be 15 years of age.
·Applicant must be in good health and without physical condition(s) that will endanger them, or someone else.
·Applicant must be of good character and possess good moral habits.
·All applicants must successfully pass a background investigation that may include a criminal history check and drug screening.
None of the above requirements are intended to be an automatic disqualifier. All of the above are taken into consideration when considering a volunteer applicant. If you believe there are special circumstances that should be considered when applying, contact the Human Resources Department.
Application Instructions:
1. When completing the application, make sure to fill in all the blanks. If an item does not apply to you, put in N/A.
2. Complete and submit all forms (Forms can be found on the City of Sanger website):
a. Application
b. Service Agreement
c. Code of Ethics
d. Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement
e. Cover Letter3. Completion of Live Scan fingerprinting. Applicants must successfully complete Live Scan fingerprinting. Authorization forms will be provided and managed by the Human Resources Department.
4. Completion of Drug Screening when applicable. Applicants must successfully pass a drug screening test authorized by the Human Resources Department.
5. Intentional withholding or falsification of information on this application will result in immediate denial of acceptance. If the volunteer applicant has been accepted and falsification is later discovered, then the applicant will be permanently dismissed.
