Come join our team! The City of Saint Paul is hiring for a Human Resources Consultant. We currently have a vacancy working as a generalist in the Talent and Equity Resources/Human Resources Department.

Here's What You Can Expect To Do

  • Provides consultative services to administration and department management concerning hiring and classification needs
  • Develops and posts job announcements, screens applicants for minimum qualifications, and creates and validates candidate assessments
  • Assists departments with succession planning, and organizational development and retention strategies

Information Specific to this Position:

This position is located at 25 West 4th Street, Annex Building. You will work a flexible (core hours are 8:00 to 4:30) hybrid schedule which requires designated days in the office, with Wednesday being a mandatory office day.

Six years of experience in Human Resources.

Note

  • An Associate’s Degree can be substituted for two years of experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree can be substituted for four years of experience.
  • A Master's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations can be substituted for an additional two years of experience.
