Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, pumps, valves, and pipeline machinery with precision and safety awareness.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, pipelines, and treatment facilities to identify issues early and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Manage water treatment processes to maintain quality standards for drinking water or industrial use.
- Oversee wastewater treatment operations to ensure environmental compliance and proper disposal procedures are followed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment to handle materials or components during maintenance or installation activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms or system malfunctions, troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed logs of plant operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks for regulatory compliance and operational transparency.
Experience
- Proven experience operating power plant equipment in a utility or industrial setting.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
- Hands-on experience with water treatment and wastewater management processes.
- Familiarity with pipeline systems used in oil & gas or energy sectors.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, hazardous materials, and environmental regulations.
