What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing and/or Mechanical Inspector position at City of Roseville, MI?
JOB DUTIES: Performs responsible and skilled inspection of plumbing installations and heating installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with City ordinances or Michigan Mechanical Code. Discusses questions and problems with homeowners, business owners, contractors and other interested parties. Writes ordinance violation notices when necessary and proceeds with court action procedures if violations are not corrected.
HOURS: 28 per week
JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Journeyman Plumber License is required. Ability to become registered with the State of Michigan as an Inspector and Plan Reviewer, pursuant to Act 54 of 1986/Act 407 of 2016. Minimum five years experience in the installation of plumbing and/or heating systems is required.
SALARY: $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on qualifications/exp
