Airport - Part-Time Laborer

AIRPORT LABORER- PART TIME

Grade Classification: $15.075/hr.

FLSA: Part-Time Non-Exempt

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for mowing of the Airport grounds and fueling of various aircraft. The position also includes other duties, included but not limited to: light maintenance of the buildings, and cleaning of the lobby/waiting areas/bathrooms. Applicant must have knowledge of credit card machines, tractors, bush hogs, and standard fuel trucks. Hours and days for the position will vary to support the airport's open hours Monday – Sunday. Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds. Applicant will be climbing ladders and balancing while fueling planes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS: Graduation from an accredited High School or successful completion of a GED examination and one year experience in the operation of light construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates will be required to obtain a NATA fueling license.
