Nature of Work:
This is a part-time seasonal/temporary position that performs routine cleaning to ensure the Park shelters are clean, orderly, properly maintained, and safe. Primary duties include cleaning floors and restrooms and cleaning up for events. Most work is performed under the direction of a supervisor. Some decision making and independent judgment is required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to set priorities and work independently, steadily, and efficiently for an extended period of time.
Work Schedule:
This position is available throughout the summer. work hours will be 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$15.76- $18.39 per hour, depending on qualifications/experience.
Benefits:
This position is not eligible for benefits except those required by law such as Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST), Public Employee Retirement Association (PERA) and workers compensation.

Valid driver's license
Desirable Qualifications
Some experience in custodial work preferred.

- Clean shelters and restrooms.
- Wipe down equipment and facilities.
- Remove trash for wastebaskets.
- Clean up before and after events.
- Enforce facility rules and all applicable local, state and federal standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
