The Robinson Police Department is accepting applications for a certified Police Officer. Robinson, population approx. 12,443, is located south of Waco and operates under a Home Rule Charter as a Council-Manager form of government.
The Robinson Police Department is developing superior, professional training for officers wishing to advance their career within the agency. Special assigned positions and assignments include detectives, community services officer, training officer, background investigations, and field training officers. Police officers are provided duty weapons, all equipment, leather gear, body armor, body cameras, and uniforms. Each officer is assigned a personal patrol vehicle that may be taken home if the officer lives within five miles of the city
Individuals with a Basic Peace Officer license is preferred. We are also accepting applications for non-licensed candidates who desire to attend the MCC Law Enforcement Academy in July, 2026.
