What are the responsibilities and job description for the Police Commander position at City of Robinson?
The Robinson Police Department is seeking a Police Commander with at least ten (10) years of experience as a peace officer and at least five (5) years of experience serving in a supervisory position. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Candidate must hold a Texas Peace Officer license through TCOLE (upon employment) and must meet all the Department's physical fitness standards. It is preferred that candidates hold a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or Public Administration, have completed an executive or command staff development program and hold a Master Peace Officer Certification through TCOLE.
