The Account Specialist performs intermediate level accounting, recordkeeping, reconciliations and clerical tasks related to keeping financial accounts and records including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts and fixed asset records. This position provides support to staff, management, the City Council and outside agencies regarding non-complex questions.
This position requires a 2-year degree in accounting, business or related major and 2 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
