- Position Purpose:**
Experience And Training
- Minimum Education: **High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Job Requirements:** Valid Colorado Driver's License and valid Colorado CDL Class B with air brake and tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Safe driving record required for continued employment. Possession of or the ability to obtain Colorado Class I Water Distribution and Class I Wastewater Collection certifications within one year of employment. First Aid and CPR Certifications desirable. Must possess Flagger certification within one year of hire. Must attend Confined Space training within one year of hire. Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, DOT physical and drug and alcohol testing with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Ability to work on call, rotating shifts, some nights, weekends, and holidays. Must maintain all licenses.
- Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job**: One year experience in repair and maintenance of water and wastewater system components, including pumping equipment and tanks is preferred. Previous experience working in a maintenance position supporting external customers is preferred.
