Join our team at Redding Electric Utility as the next Utility Arborist.
We are looking for someone to:
- Trim, shape, and remove tree limbs, branches, and vegetation in close proximity to high- and low-voltage power lines, poles, and transformers, using power chain saws, rope rigging, and other hand tools and equipment.
- Work from elevated platforms and operate aerial devices.
- Occasionally, climb trees to remove vegetation and prune them.
Qualifications we’re looking for:
- Two years of line clearance tree trimming experience.
- Current "Certified Arborist" certification by the International Society of Arboriculture.
