This vital role serves as a reliable lead in the Power Control Center, guiding staff, supporting shift operations, and maintaining safe, continuous system reliability.

We Are Looking for Someone to
- Direct, train, and evaluate Electric Utility System Operators and Assistant System Operators - Transmission & Distribution
- Provide the redistribution of loads and required switching in case of trouble
- Ensure maintenance of service during emergencies
- In the event of a system outage, inform relevant parties of the system outage status in a timely fashion and provide periodic updates for the duration of the outage
- Ensure all applicable NERC and WECC reliability standards for the Transmission & Distribution System Operator desk are in full compliance
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Possession of a NERC Certificate in one of the following areas: Reliability Operator, Balancing, Interchange and Transmission Operator, or Transmission Operator
- Five (5) years of power dispatching experience or seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in power substation or generation operations
