THE POSITION OF: Municipal Operations Manager
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: CSC/Admin. Services
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
SCHEDULE: Full Time (35hrs per week)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Municipal Operations Manager oversees all facets of Citizens’ Service Center daily operations and planning.
Typical job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Provide oversight to other managers and staff as needed in all CSC facets: Treasury, mail operations, call center and counter, 311 app
- Residential Trash & Recycling - Administrative customer service functions of program
- Prepare yearly division budget and assist in other City-wide revenue and expenditure
discussions as necessary
- Oversight of Business Privilege and Per Capita Tax collection
- Eliminate waste and bottlenecks in providing municipal services to City and non-City
residents
- Efficient and professional responses to citizens via telephone, e-mail or in person
- Create Standard Operating Procedures as determined
- Craft responses to other professionals, (i.e. attorneys, accountants, property managers)
- Court appearances on behalf of the City.
- Produce quarterly statistic reports on counter requests, 311 tickets and calls for service
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a finance related field.
- Must be able to type at least 55 wpm with accuracy.
- Proficient use in Microsoft office programs, especially Excel
- Proficient use of Tyler Munis or related ERP permitting and licensing platforms, i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Five (5) years related experience in banking and municipal service delivery.
