What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planning and Zoning Coordinator position at City of Raytown?
Coordinates the administrative elements of various boards staffed by the Community Development department, including the Planning & Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. Performs a variety of complex administrative duties under the direction of the Community Development Director. Uses initiative and independent judgment in the application of prescribed policies, procedures and methods.
Equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in business, urban planning, public administration or a related field and five years of planning and office experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Municipal experience highly desired.
