What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tennis Professional Winter/Spring 2026 position at City of Raleigh North Carolina?
Are you passionate about tennis and eager to share it with others? We are seeking motivated tennis players to train as beginner tennis instructors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to give back to the sport they love.
Successful candidates will be NTRP 3.5 or higher tennis players who effectively communicate with groups of juniors.
ADA and Other Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity:
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed both inside and outside. The worker is exposed to both extreme cold and heat, with temperatures below 32 degrees for periods exceeding one hour and temperatures above 100 degrees for periods exceeding one hour. The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above the ambient noise level.
