The City of Raleigh Information Technology Department is seeking an Application Analyst to support and enhance our ServiceNow platform — a key enterprise tool that helps every City department deliver excellent service to nearly half a million residents.
In this role, you will design, build, configure, and support digital workflows that make work simpler, faster, and smarter. You will help maintain and optimize ServiceNow applications, support integrations, develop reports, troubleshoot issues, and partner with teams across the City to streamline operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and automations
- Build digital solutions that improve how City employees serve the community
- Support integrations, testing, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics
- Troubleshoot issues, manage requests, and provide high-quality user support
- Partner with teams across the City to streamline processes and modernize operations
- Maintain data quality, system integrity, and user access within the ServiceNow platform
- Participate in evaluating, implementing, and deploying new ServiceNow modules and features
Typical Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 3 to 5 years' experience in application configuration, database administration, software solutions, user support, or a related field
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) certification
- Release Management
- Application specific certifications
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ITIL Foundations
Salary : $73,100 - $113,300
