Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
License And Certificates

- Must possess the ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions.
- Must possess the ability to work under adverse climatic conditions.
- Must possess the ability to work weekends and nights as needed.
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain good working relations with fellow employees and the general public.
- Must possess the ability to operate and maintain a variety of power and manual tools and equipment.
- Must possess the ability to be trained in the materials, methods, techniques, and terminology used in maintenance and repair activities related to the city's water/wastewatersystem, including how repair parts are applied to the water system including hydrants, pumps and valves.
- Must have knowledge of basic mathematical skills including percentages, fractions, decimals, and ratios.
- Regular and timely attendance is required.
- Must have the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and standards to specific situations.
