Hiring Rate: $17.50 per hour FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime) Deadline to Apply: 04/21/2026 Internship Summary: We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, detail-oriented Water Resources Program Intern. This internship includes opportunities to learn about historical, current and future water policy, water resource management and City water conservation initiatives. In this role, you will support departmental efforts to effectively manage historical and active digital records related to operational and long-term water resources management efforts. You will also have opportunities to engage the public at key outreach events and gain hands-on, real-world experience related to water conservation programming. Responsibilities include helping organize electronic policies and division records to prepare for migrating into a Sharepoint environment, assisting in reviewing water obligations related to new requests for City water service, and using writing and research skills to help draft informational content for Prescott's long term water management plan. Projects will also include assisting with water conservation rebate application reviews, assisting customers with EyeOnWater® leak detection signups and staffing public outreach events Scope: Support the City of Prescott's Water Resources Management efforts by:
