What You'll Do:
- Perform correctional officer duties with professionalism and integrity
- Monitor and manage incarcerated individuals in a secure facility
- Conduct routine inspections of housing areas for safety and compliance
- Supervise daily routines, including meals, hygiene, recreation, and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports
- Train and grow into future assignments with specialty units
Schedule:
- Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day or Night)
- Every other weekend off (14 days worked per month)
- Must be available for emergency calls, weekend/holiday shifts, and special details

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- U.S. citizen, age 18 at time of sworn duty
- Valid driver’s license with a positive point balance
- Must pass a physical exam and be declared "fit for duty"
- Must complete Academy training within 12 months (includes physical, firearms, driving, and academic qualifications)
- Similar experience preferred but not required
- Military applicants must provide DD-214
