Starting pay range is $24.96 - $28.99 an hour per the 1386A Working Agreement, experience, and certification(s). As part of the team, each person will be required to be part of a rotating on call schedule; generous compensation is provided for being on call and all emergency call-in events are paid at an overtime rate.
Starting pay is $24.96 an hour without certification
$26.19 an hour with a New Hampshire Grade 1 Water Treatment Operator Licensee
$28.99 an hour with a New Hampshire Grade 2 Water Treatment Operator License
$35.24 an hour after 42 months of service with a Grade 2 Water Treatment Operator License

The purpose of this position is to assist, individually and with others, in the operation and maintenance of Pease Wastewater Treatment Plant, machinery and equipment according to approved performance standards for which the operating unit is responsible. This includes functions such as treating wastewater, cleaning and maintaining treatment plant facilities, pumping stations and equipment, tanks, performing daily laboratory procedures, preventative maintenance and repair work, and otherwise completing assigned work. Performance is subject to review according to the City's personnel plan through observation, reports and the results achieved.
Salary : $25 - $29
