What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks & Recreation Bus Driver (part-time) position at City of Portage?
Parks and Recreation is looking for year-round part-time bus drivers to create a pool of shuttle bus drivers for events and programs, providing reliable and safe transportation to patrons with disabilities, young children, or other limitations at the events.
What You'll Do:

Drive shuttle buses for events and programs. Must be available for some of the upcoming programs.
- Summer Concert Series: 5 concerts, 5 PM - 10 PM, two drivers
- Friday at the Flats: 4 nights, 5 PM - 10 PM, two drivers
- Fall Fest: 1 day, 9 AM - 2 PM, two drivers
- Monster Mash: 2 PM -8 PM, two drivers
- Traditional Holiday: 5 PM - 10 PM, two drivers
- Fish camp: 3 Days, 9 AM - 1 PM, one driver
- Agritourism Programs (2): 5 PM- 9 PM, one driver
What We're Looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess a Michigan Chauffer's license with a good driving record
- Previous school bus experience desired
