Water Distribution/Public Works
Install, maintain, and repair water mains, valves, hydrants, service lines, and meters. This includes performing routine inspections and maintenance on water distribution systems.
Respond to customer service calls, water quality complaints, and emergency repairs during and after normal work hours as needed. Monthly meter reading. Must be able to perform physical labor, work in adverse weather conditions, and lift 50 pounds.
Preferred: Experience working in a municipal or rural water utility environment.
*Must have or obtain Class D Water Distribution License within 12 months of hire.
Minimum Qualifications
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Valid Texas Driver's License
*Will be required to acquire additional certification.
