Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Manager, Recreation Supervisors and Coordinators, this position enhances the quality of life for all residents and fosters individual and community in all aspects of physical, mental, social and environmental through recreational opportunities.

- Shifts are weekday morning, afternoon and evening hours.
- Flexible schedule: work one day a week or multiple days.
- Program runs year-round.
- Fall session begins in September
- Winter session begins in January
- Spring session in March.
- Location Wayzata East Middle School Pool
- Mandatory staff trainings are held monthly.
- Pre-season training takes place prior to program start dates.
- Supervise programming activities for all ages in a recreation setting.
- Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
- Follow staff policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants.
- Current Lifeguard Certification, or able to obtain (classes regularly held)
- Must be 16 years of age or older by program start date.
- Must be personable, dependable and a good communicator.
