Police Officer Salary and Benefits
Effective October 20, 2025 - December 18, 2025
The City of Piqua, Ohio, is currently testing for the position of full time Police Officer. Applicants for the position must file an application with the city AND test with the National Testing Network (www.NationalTestingNetwork.com). National Testing Network Score and City of Piqua application must be received by
March 22, 2024.
Up to an additional 3% pay for “Master Police Officer”
Starting Salary $34.97/hr. with annual increases first five
Over 120 hours of annual paid leave in addition to sick leave
Eleven paid holidays annually
Paid overtime including court time
Paid training (basic and in-service)
Twelve-hour shifts result in every other weekend off
