(Seasonal)
Definition: Under close supervision, performs cash revenue receiving in processing payments,
balancing and preparing funds for deposit.

Tasks:
Collects monies received; processes payments; balances revenues; balances cash
received throughout the day; balances checks; posts revenues received to accounting
reports; balances cash postings; prepares bank deposits; develops and maintains manual
and automated filing systems; receives a daily review from supervisor.
Provides information and assistance to aquatics facility visitors. Assists in registration,
answering phones, filing, and data entry for the purpose of preparing attendance, cash,
and other reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of and skill in the operation of a cash drawer.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping.
Knowledge of basic accounting.
Knowledge of the City’s revenue sources.
Knowledge of customer service techniques.
Skill in operating various office equipment.
Skill in performing basic bookkeeping procedures.
Skill in performing basic accounting activities.
Skill in dealing with the public.
Skill in balancing daily receipts.
Physical Requirements: The work requires frequent standing, sitting, fine hand manipulations,
grasping, reaching, repetitive motion, and occasionally lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25
pounds. Frequent use of computers, voice and electronic communications systems.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and six (6) months of experience handling monies
received. Adult/Child/Infant CPR and first aid certifications required. CivicRec knowledge
preferred. Requires being fingerprinted and successfully passing background screening.
