The Secretary III will be responsible for completing a range of highly skilled administrative and varied clerical tasks, demonstrating a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service.

Pay Range: $20.02 to $29.58 per hour.
Hiring Range: $20.02 to $26.83 per hour.

The Secretary III will be responsible for completing a range of highly skilled administrative and varied clerical tasks, demonstrating a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality seamless customer service.
The key job duties of the position. Some areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with answering ITS main phone line to assist customers with questions or concerns.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers and internal city personnel coming to the office.
- Update multiple logs and records.
- Provide accurate and timely transmittal of information and messages (including mail).
- Assist with the preparation, review, and processing of travel for all staff within the assigned divisions.
- Assist with cable complaints.
- Order office supplies.
- Maintain manuals and updates resource materials.
- Maintain various email accounts within the department.
- Ability to exercise judgment and act independently in establishing work procedures.
- Demonstrates proactiveness in researching and solving problems on their own.
- Explains methods used to keep their work organized.
- Knowledge of MS software (i.e., Word and Excel).
Pay Range: $20.02 to $29.58 per hour.
Hiring Range: $20.02 to $26.83 per hour.

- Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
- Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
- Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase.
- Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease.
- Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade.
- When there is a change in the first digit of the pay grade, there may also be a change to your classification or unit.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of progressively responsible secretarial experience, including training in typing and the use of modern office software and equipment.
- Other combinations of experience and education which meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
