Minimum Requirements:
The City of Peoria is seeking a Utility System Operator I in their Wastewater Collection Division to monitor, operate, and perform preventative maintenance at remote facilities, lift stations, and sanitary sewer mains throughout the City. The Operator I will be responsible for hydro cleaning sanitary sewer mains, conducting CCTV inspections, performing weekly inspections at remote sites, and identifying, troubleshooting, and logging any issues with processes or equipment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school graduation or equivalency.
- Experience: No prior experience is required for this position.
- Physical Demands: A main requirement of the job is physical labor.
- Valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement within 6 months upon hire.
- Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) grade 1 certification in Wastewater Collection within 1 year upon hire.
