What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Clerk position at City of Pekin?
The City of Pekin is currently accepting applications for a Finance Clerk to perform customer service and finance related duties including walk ins and phone calls for City Hall. The duties of this position will include processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitoring self-reported taxes, issuing licenses and permits, processing payments, and assisting with other various customer service and finance functions.
This is a union position with the Teamsters Local 627 and a contractual rate of pay at $28.31 per hour.
Normal working hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
Required testing for bookkeeping, accounting and customer service.
