What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Maintenance Technician I - Water Production position at City of Pasadena?
Duties: Performs manual tasks including general maintenance at a skilled level involved in the equipment used for the maintenance of water, lines and meter, and/or plants. Working with co-workers as a team on daily and weekly household maintenance of water storage sites. Mowing and trimming around tanks and fences. Occasionally, repair fence, paint pipes and buildings, and pump and motor maintenance. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Works the assigned schedule and complies with City timekeeping and attendance policy. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in construction trades such as concrete work, pipe work, electrical and general labor. Valid Texas driver's license and good driving record. Obtain Class C Groundwater License.
