Currently Recruiting for Reserve Police Officers
·Competitive Salary based on years of experience: Supervisor, Instructor, and/or Specialized Training, etc.
·Eligible for annual step and COLA increases
·Eligible for up to $2,281 a year state incentive pay
·Yearly clothing allowance of $400
Patrols assigned beat on foot or in/on appropriate police vehicle in order to:
control traffic, prevent crime, prevent disturbance of peace, arrest violators.
May be assigned to other Units.
Must possess valid P.O.P.S. certification from the State of Kentucky
If out of state, contact the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council at 859-622-6218 to determine training reciprocity eligibility
Status must not have been in review for revocation
Status must have been in good standing
