[*IF REQUIRED TO REPORT: Must report to work for duty outside normally scheduled work hours in response to natural disasters, emergencies, rotational on-call assignments, or critical incidents as determined by City Administration.]

Performs semi-skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair projects relating to water, reclaimed water, and wastewater utility systems. Operates equipment in connection with tasks. Work requires customer contact beginning with the new meter installation, to the turn on/off function, to service repairs. Maintenance includes hydrant maintenance and troubleshooting meters, service taps, and main breaks. Investigates and remediates water- quality issues. Performs related work as required. Work is performed under the supervision of the Utility Supervisor.
