Work/Life Balance: One of the most unique and sought-after aspect of our department is our Patrol Schedule which allows officers to have off at least two weekends each month. The 10-hour shift creates a better work-life balance and maximizes officer efficiency and community responsiveness. The 10-hour work schedule consists of the following rotation:
- 5 days on, 4 days off
- 5 days on, 4 days off
- 5 days on, 5 days off

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 credits from an accredited college or university. (*Successful applicants must complete the 60-credit state requirement within their first 5 years of employment.)
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License at the time of appointment.
- Age 20 or older.
- U.S. citizenship with no felony or Domestic Abuse related convictions.
- Physical fitness necessary to meet the demands of the job.
Salary : $70,202 - $90,857
