About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Facilities Helper to join our team as a Seasonal Maintenance Worker at the City of Orono.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a variety of moderately complex repair, construction, and public works maintenance activities using a range of equipment and hand tools.
- Undertake maintenance tasks in various areas including streets, parks, water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and buildings.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations, and adhere to best practices when operating equipment and lifting/moving heavy objects.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possess a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- Capable of frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
Additional Information
This is a seasonal role that runs from April to September.
The hourly rate for this position is $14 per hour.
