Leu Gardens, Mennello Museum of American Art and the Public Art program. Collectively, these diverse venues host high-profile sporting events like the NFL Pro Bowl Games, Orlando Magic NBA basketball and three annual bowl games along with big-name concerts including Paul McCartney, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter and the massive annual EDC Orlando. Job Description:

Performs semi-skilled manual work involving event preparation, change-over, and general maintenance of KIA Center. Performs tasks requiring knowledge of the regulations/specifications of the various sports, and involves the use of independent judgment and initiative, above-average physical effort, operation of power tools and equipment, and the ability to work without constant supervision once tasks are learned. Performs other duties as assigned. Duties may include lead worker responsibilities. Work is performed under moderate supervision of a Crew Leader or Supervisor, and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to sports regulations and/or specifications. Work Schedule: Hours vary, although weekend, evening, and holiday hours are often required based on event schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Six (6) months Arena, Stadium, or Convention Center recommended; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
