Nature of Work: This position involves working with the Recreation Coordinator in the overall operation and maintenance of the ice resurfacing machine (Zamboni) at the Motto McClean ice rink.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license from the time of appointment.
Must be able to work varied times, including weekends and holidays.
Under the guidance of the Recreation Coordinator, applicant will be responsible for completing safety training on all equipment and machinery
Pay Range: Depends on Experience

- Flooding and Painting
- Performs general maintenance of icemaking machines.
- Follows all safety programs associated with the operation of icemaking and ice maintenance equipment.
- Performs daily maintenance of all mechanical equipment.
- Keeps maintenance logs on specified equipment.
- Assists with all groundskeeping duties, including trash removal, lawn maintenance, and snow removal.
- Coordinates with building maintenance staff on facility upkeep.
- Sharpens ice-skates.
- Handles sales at concessions and pro shop, including using a cash register.
- Provides customer service to members of the public.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification.
