- Ability to learn the operation of a boat dock and marina
- Ability to operate fuel pumps and a cash register and make correct change
- Ability to communicate effectively with workmates and the public
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions
- Ability to stand and move about the facility 75 to 100% of the workday
- Ties up boats at the boat dock, dispenses gasoline, and collects payment
- Sells snack food and drinks to boaters and other frequenters of the marina
- Balances daily cash and charge receipts at the cash register and the fuel pumps
- Maintains the marinas equipment and grounds
- Provides customer assistance and responds to inquiries and complaints
- Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification
