Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of the rules and play of the game of golf
- Ability to communicate effectively with workmates and the public
- Ability to drive a golf cart and operate a two-way radio
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions
- Ability to sit from 75 to 100% and stand and walk up to 25% of the work day
- Drives a golf cart to patrol the golf course, checks golfers receipts, ensures that the game is played properly and promptly by golfers, and cautions or removes those guilty of rules infractions
- Picks up trash and litter from the course
- Assists in the operation of the clubhouse
- Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification
