Theater Worker - Winter Production

The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and experienced team members for the position of Theater Worker for our next production, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical. Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your know-how and skills in performing arts elements and skills? Our Theater Workers enjoy a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $14.40 hourly.

As part of our Cultural Arts Division, this position plays an important role in productions at O'Fallon's Community Theater. The ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

As a Theater Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Designing, building and dressing sets
• Assisting in all aspects of theater production, including working with actors and the tech crew
• Assisting in technical aspects of the play, including sound and lights

We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in all aspects of theater, who has excellent public relations skills. This person should be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals.

• Have community or professional theater experience
  
• Have experience with sets and lighting
