The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a full time Street Maintenance Supervisor. Our Street Maintenance Supervisors earn competitive hourly rates from $72,404.80 to $108,617.60 with an expected starting salary of $72,404.80 to $90,521.60.

As a Street Maintenance Supervisor, some of your duties and responsibilities include:
- Participating in and supervising others in the repair and maintenance of public streets, sidewalks and related infrastructure
- Planning, organizing, scheduling and supervising an assigned shift for snow removal operations
- Assisting as needed with the removal and replacement of street segments for repair
- Evaluating Crew Leaders and ensuring safe practices for your crew
You'll be responsible for training and supervising your assigned crew, scheduling and coordinating vehicles, tools and equipment for the team. Customer service skills are essential in this role, as you'll be responding to resident questions, complaints and concerns, which may include responding to after hours emergencies.
On the administrative side of the position, you'll be assisting in the preparation of bid documents, budgets, purchase orders and purchases in accordance with the City's Financial policies, working as needed with vendors and contractors concerning the procurement of goods and services. The ability to prepare recommendations for personnel actions including hiring, discipline matters, evaluations, and accident review is essential for success in this role as Street Supervisor.

Requirements include:
- Possession of or ability readily obtain a valid Class A commercial driver's license issued by the state of Missouri. Employer-paid CDL training is available.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in utility or roadway maintenance and 1-3 years experience in the supervision of personnel.
- The ability to work nights/weekends for winter operations.
- Knowledge of the maintenance and repair of street infrastructure.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects, climb ladders, use tools and equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
- The ability to perform work in an environment where temperatures can vary based on weather conditions.
