Position Summary
As a Pool Supervisor, you'll oversee daily pool operations, lead a team of lifeguards and swim instructors, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons. From managing chemical levels to facilitating programs and events, your leadership will help create a positive and professional aquatic experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pool operations and ensure safety during all shifts
- Monitor and adjust pool chemical levels
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and evaluations
- Enforce safety protocols and facility rules
- Lead conflict resolution and customer service efforts
- Plan and support aquatic programs and special events
- Perform lifeguard duties and swim instruction as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Mentor and support staff development
What You Bring
- Knowledge of pool operations, safety, and rescue techniques
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with the public and lead a team effectively
- Experience in lifeguarding, instruction, or aquatic facility management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Valid Missouri driver's license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard)
